This year, I'm a presenter at National LGBTQ Task Force's Creating Change Conference in Washington, D.C.
Tomorrow, I'll share stories from some famous - and should-be-famous - individuals and couples about how they created a legacy for the future.
Yes, we are talking about gifts that are planned to support communities that become realized upon our deaths.
Some tales are from history that have been told on HBO. Others have been covered by TIME, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.
There is robust data already available to help nonprofits raise more money today as well as into the future, and we'll explore more options to make both happen at the same time.
Our work is possible because we are building upon the excellent, multi-year efforts of such leading institutions as Pew Research Center, Horizons Foundation, Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, Campbell & Company, The Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law, Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and many more groups large and small including countless grassroots groups in the country.

*** Although my session is for conference attendees only at the Washington Hilton (DuPont Circle), I'm happy to share a brief or full engaging session for others at a later time.
===> The findings are just too good to keep to a small group.
