Mitigate the Downward Trend of Giving to Charity

🕰 Again, giving in 2023 was lower, using inflation-adjusted dollars (Giving USA Foundation | The Giving Institute, 2024).

🙋🏽‍♂️ Some #nonprofits 👓 are attempting to stem the tide: 

*** World Vision set up a #donor subscription #program to engage supporters to give to a broader set of purposes and for general operations

*** Feeding San Diego & Barter Theatre invested more energy in their #recurring giving programs

*** #Foundation giving might go up in 2024, according to Candid, with 1/3 of #funders reporting intentions to do so

*** Philanthropy Together recommends keeping close touch with volunteers who are donors
